Name, positioning, guests, covers, on-screen graphics and scripts. Built on the card system already running across her fifteen reels, so the show and the feed read as one brand.
Every candidate was searched against live feeds on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. Most of the obvious names are already taken.
The one promise no other athlete show makes. A guest with two million followers has answered the game questions a hundred times, and this title says up front that we will not ask them. Money, injury and life after sport all live inside the premise, so she never has to steer toward her subject. No podcast match on any platform.
| Backups, all clear | The idea |
|---|---|
| The Part Nobody Films | Our own tagline as the title. Most distinctive of the backups. |
| Her Next Contract | Money in the title without a finance word. Female-forward. |
| No Highlight Reel | Says the premise in three words. Close to Tha Highlight Reel, which exists. |
| The Money Part | Clear, but reads like a finance podcast, which is what we are avoiding. |
| Six Two | Her height as a wordmark. Ownable, and says nothing about the content. |
| Ruled out | What is already there | |
|---|---|---|
| RRR / Recognizing the Real | Several Real Recognize Real shows on Spotify, Apple and YouTube. @rrr_podcast taken. RRR is also a very large Indian film. | Taken |
| Between Contracts | Beyond the Contract on Apple. Basketball, overseas, interview format. Same lane. | Taken |
| The Quiet Part | The Quiet Part exists on Apple, plus The Quiet Parts and two Quiet Part Loud shows. | Taken |
| Pass First | Pass First Podcast on Apple and YouTube, handle @PassFirstPod. | Taken |
| Nobody Tells You | What Nobody Tells You and two Things Nobody Tells You. | Taken |
| Lived It | Lived It and We Lived It both on Apple. | Taken |
| The Walk Out | The Walkout on Apple. | Taken |
| The Tunnel | Heavily used across sports media. | Crowded |
Social handles have to be checked inside each app before the name is final, search does not show them. And Beyond the Game: Wealth Mastery for Athletes already sits on Apple. It is not a naming collision, it is the closest direct competitor to her positioning, worth a look before launch.
If a guest's team cannot approve the premise in one read, the booking dies in the inbox.
The business case does not rest on a pitch inside the episode. It rests on one association repeating: athlete money questions, this person. Conversion happens in the description and the pinned comment, where a link sits and nothing is recommended.
And it is not the group with the biggest numbers.
| Group | Who | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Reach | Fans of the guest. 14 to 30, mostly female for a WNBA booking. | Volume, algorithm, proof for the next booking. |
| Core | Athletes with money arriving now. NIL earners, rookies, overseas pros, 18 to 28. | The people who book a call. |
| Gatekeepers | Agents, coaches, athletic directors, parents. | Highest value per viewer. One agent equals a roster. |
Tuned for Reach it becomes a celebrity interview show and never produces a client. Tuned for Core it never gets a guest. The balance is fixed in the format, and every episode is clipped for both audiences separately.
These go in titles, descriptions and on-screen text.
Not the biggest name. This is the one strategic correction in the document, and it saves months.
A WNBA guest with millions of followers will not sit for a show with zero episodes. Their team asks to see the last one and there is none. The pilot's job is to manufacture that proof: book someone from her own network, shoot it in 4K, cut it beautifully, then use that episode as the pitch. She played at Pepperdine, TCU and Notre Dame, and already has athletes in Italy, Spain and Israel.
| Tier | Profile | Yes in | Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 · Pilot | Former teammate or conference peer. Anyone she can text directly. | Days | The proof episode. |
| 2 · Build | Pros at 50k to 500k followers, agents, an AD, a parent of a top recruit. | Weeks | Episodes 2 to 6. |
| 3 · Target | WNBA names with a seven-figure following. | Months, warm intro | Pitch them a finished episode, not a deck. |
The last item closes it. The whole thing costs the guest ninety minutes.
A guest is never framed as a client. If a guest praises her on camera, that segment does not ship. Any compensation is disclosed on screen and in the description.
The segment names are the chapter cards, the YouTube chapters and the clip folders.
| Segment | Runs | What happens | Clips |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cold open | 0:20 | The best line of the episode, pulled in the edit. No setup. | Trailer |
| I · The Tape | 5–8 min | Where they came from. Gives the fan audience what it came for. | 1 |
| II · The Turn | 8–12 min | The moment the plan changed. Injury, transfer, draft night, the call that never came. | 2 |
| III · The Check | 8–12 min | The through-line lives here. First real money, and what nobody explained. | 2–3 |
| IV · After | 6–8 min | What the plan for after looks like, and when they started thinking about it. | 1 |
| V · The Pass | 2–3 min | Same closing question every episode: what would you tell the seventeen-year-old you. | 1, always |
She asks what they did, never what anyone should do. Every question is retrospective and about the guest's own experience, which keeps the block out of advertising territory.
One 4K long-form master, one audio master, 7 to 9 captioned verticals, a 45 to 60 second trailer, one square cover, one thumbnail, one quote carousel.
Written to platform limits and cleared against the compliance list.
Everything But the Game is a conversation with athletes about the part of the career nobody films: the transfer, the injury, the first check and the plan for after. Hosted by Rebakah Obinma, former D1 basketball player. Educational content only.
Every athlete show asks about the game. This one asks about everything else. Rebakah Obinma played Division I basketball at Pepperdine, TCU and Notre Dame. She transferred, she got injured, and she was in the locker room when NIL money started arriving and nobody knew what to do with it. She didn't just study the risk. She lived it. Each episode is one athlete working through the parts of a career that never make a highlight reel: the transfer nobody explains, the injury that resets the plan, the first real check and what happened to it. These are not advice episodes. They are honest conversations about how a career in sport actually works, with the money part left in instead of edited out. Educational content only. Not investment, tax or legal advice.
[Guest Name] on [the single most specific thing] | Everything But the Game Good Jordan Rivera on the transfer nobody warned her about Good Jordan Rivera on her first NIL check and what happened to it Weak Financial literacy for athletes ft. Jordan Rivera
Guest name first, that is the search term with volume. The specific thing second, that earns the click.
[HOOK] One sentence. Guest name plus the most specific thing, and one phrase the Core audience searches. [BODY] Two or three sentences, in the words an athlete would use. ABOUT [GUEST] Two lines. Facts only, no claims about outcomes. CHAPTERS Cold open / The Tape / The Turn / The Check / After / The Pass SOURCES CITED Every figure named on screen, in the fact card's wording. CONNECT Both handles, plus the resource link. DISCLOSURE Educational content only. Not investment, tax or legal advice. Any figure cited is sourced on screen. Nothing in this episode is a recommendation of any product or strategy, and no outcome is promised or implied.
Fixed wording, never shortened. Same SCS line already on all fifteen reels. It names no firm and claims no licensing status, so it holds before and after her advisory exam.
Sampled from the existing reel cards, not invented. The show does not get a separate look, it inherits this one.
Ink is deliberately not pure black, which stops large type vibrating on white. Pink deep exists for small text, the vivid pink clears contrast at large sizes only. Guest photography is the fourth color and the only one that changes.
Headlines at 800 with tracking at -0.045em. The tight tracking is what makes it read modern, not the family.
Italic only, never more than two words in a row. It marks the one word in a headline that carries the meaning.
The existing kit, carried into the show clips unchanged. CARD.NOTE and ICON.CHECK-DRAW do most of the work in segment III. All three typefaces are Open Font License, free for commercial use.
Real frames from the September shoot, straight out of the edit. Guest cutouts come from each episode's own stills session.
Static, changes only on a rebrand. The real test is 55 pixels wide, how it renders in a Spotify library. The guest never appears here.
Wordmark on white across the top 44 percent, still readable at 55 px.
Most cinematic, weakest at 55 px because type sits over image detail.
Highest findability in a crowded feed. Use if A tests weak on Spotify.
3000 × 3000, RGB, 72 dpi, under 500 KB. Apple minimum 1400 × 1400. No text under 110 px in the 3000 file. No episode number, date, URL or border. Never ships without a 55 px test.
Where the click is won. The real test is 246 × 138 in a mobile feed. Three layouts, rotated so the channel page does not look repetitive.
Hook capped at five words over three lines, exactly one word in the italic pink.
Twelve words maximum, always verbatim, payoff in pink bold. Subject looks toward the text.
The source line is not decoration. Every number comes from the approved list, or the thumbnail does not get made.
Sized as a percentage of frame, so one build works on the 4K timeline and the verticals.
In 4 seconds after they first speak, and once after the midpoint. Safe margin 4.4 percent left, 8.5 percent bottom. Never over a face.
Says Host and nothing else until Ivy answers. No firm name, no title, no licensing claim on screen.
The source line is what makes the figure publishable. The card stays up for the whole time the figure is discussed, not three seconds.
Wipes up over 350 ms, holds 800 ms, wipes off. Carries a two-bar stinger. The only transition in the show.
Her thesis line is used verbatim and is never rewritten.
"I'm Rebakah Obinma. I played D1 basketball at Pepperdine, TCU and Notre Dame. I didn't just study the risk. I lived it."
"This is Everything But the Game, where athletes talk about the part of the career nobody films. My guest today is [name]."
"Everything here is educational only. It is not investment, tax or legal advice."
"[Guest first name], thank you. That was the good stuff."
"If you're an athlete and something in there sounded like your situation, the description has where to start. I can't tell you what to do with your money in a comment, and I won't. But I'll talk to you."
"New episode [cadence]. I'm Rebakah Obinma. Recognizing the real, every time."
Afro house and Afro swing, 90 to 100 bpm, her playlists as reference. Three cuts licensed once and reused every episode: 20-second intro bed, two-bar stinger, 25-second outro bed. Musicbed, Artlist or Epidemic on a commercial YouTube tier. Nothing from a personal Spotify playlist goes near the timeline.
Studio at Fashion Island, Newport Beach.
| Element | Spec |
|---|---|
| Resolution | 3840 × 2160, 24 fps, 10-bit where the body allows. A center crop gives a 1080-wide vertical with no upscale. |
| Cameras | A wide two-shot locked, B host three-quarter 50mm, C guest three-quarter 50mm. Two is the floor. |
| Vertical safe | 25 percent headroom, both subjects inside the center 60 percent. |
| Audio | Lav on each speaker, shotgun backup, separate track per person, 48 kHz 24-bit. |
| Set and light | Large soft key, white backdrop, two chairs, one pink prop in frame. No logo wall, it dates the episode and raises a firm-attribution question. |
| Wardrobe | Her: black, white or pink, no pattern, no logos. Guest told in advance to avoid saturated color. |
| Stills | 15 minutes at the top of the shoot. Every cover and thumbnail cutout comes from here. Skipping it kills the art package. |
The SOW covers one pilot episode. This system scales to a weekly series, but a series is not in scope and should not be promised to her or to a guest. That is a Phase 2 conversation with its own SOW.
Under SEC Rule 206(4)-1. These sit on top of the standing list in her context file.

Final square cover and three thumbnail templates as editable files, the lower-third and fact-card pack, the chapter-card animation, the question set for the pilot guest, the booking email and the release form. Roughly one working day of design.
